Open surgery

Century-old surgical technique currently intended for minor procedures. This technique also helps in the treatment of more complex pathologies that make it impossible to use laparoscopic and robotic techniques. It is also indicated in the treatment of rare intraoperative complications that may occur in minimally invasive approaches and endanger the patient's life.

Laparoscopic Surgery

Minimally invasive surgical technique developed in the last 3 decades. It aims to minimize the inflammatory response to surgery where small abdominal or thoracic incisions provide access to the target organ(s) of the surgery.  Through one of the portal access passes a tiny camera that sends an image in real time to a high-resolution monitor that helps guide the surgeon to operate through key hold incisions.

Robotic Surgery

Innovative operative technique where the robotic arms are manipulated by the surgeon's hands to perform the surgical act. The movements are much more precise and stable. Advanced cameras offer unique 3D imaging for a delicate and detailed dissection. We call it surgery assisted by robotic devices.
